Inner Power Camp

July 20-22 @1:00-3:00 PM

$135, which includes the $20 art journal and supply fee

We are thrilled to be able to offer Me Power Camp, a special collaboration between Coaching Kids 4 Success, Michelle Forcier & Lisa Zieleniewski and Brighton Light House, Anna Oginsky!

Using the Wisdom System, a story-based coaching model and curriculum, Inner Power Camp integrates discussions, art journaling, and personal experiences to guide participants in discovering the ways in which their self-confidence helps them in making good decisions and standing up to peer pressure.

Camp Day 1 - “Developing Unstoppable Self-Confidence”

Children will learn that self-confidence means “believing in yourself” – believing that you can do whatever you set your mind to. The belief that “I Can” versus “I Can’t.”

Camp Day 2 – “Choosing What You Want for You” (How to Make Good Decisions)

Children will learn the tools necessary to make good decisions in life. Knowing what they believe about key issues such as cheating, lying etc. can help them stay focused on their goals and stand up to peer pressure.

Camp Day 3 - “Standing Up to Peer Pressure” (How to say “Yes” to You and “No” to Peer Pressure

Children will learn about peer pressure – what it is: what if looks like, feels like and sounds like; and how to say “no” when someone tries to get them to do something they don’t want to do.

Each participant will receive their own Strathmore Mixed Media Art Journal. Throughout Me Power Camp, children will have the opportunity to go deeper into the lessons of the curriculum themes using art techniques and materials in their art journals.
